In this today's tough environment, one can't spend much time in normal classroom teaching due to time and performance constraints. One has to take the path of virtual learning. It had been said that India is a knowledge based economy. But it is also true that only a minimal percentage of people have access to this knowledge. So, how we can say that India is a knowledge based economy.
In a scenario like India, only virtual education is the tool that can helps. Our government declared to open seven new IITs, but from where they get the faculty for them. India today has about shortage of 12000 PhDs in engineering and science. So, it is obvious that present model can't work effectively and efficiently. What can pave the way is virtual education.
So it is strongly recommended that a proper working model of imparting virtual education must be found out the eminent researchers, academicians and thinkers. This would greatly helps in maintaining quality while imparting virtual education.
